First Award “The Overcoat”

It´s official “The Overcoat has won it´s first award!!!!!

“The Overcoat” won the award for BEST FILM in the Experimental/Dramatic category at the 53rd WORLDFEST HOUSTON INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL!

Why is this a milestone for “The Overcoat”?

WORLDFEST HOUSTON INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL:

  •  is a canadian Screen Award Qualifying Festival! Canada? Fingers crossed this will give me the perfect excuse to finally visit Canada. It´s been on the bucket list for way to long.
  •  is the oldest independent film festival in the world!!!! Being able to be part of 53rd edition of this festival that has such a long history of supporting the entertainment industry and up and coming filmmakers is just a really gratifying experience
  • Previous winners include Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Ang Lee, David Lyinch and The Coen Brothers. So unreal isn´t it?

I am so excited and incredibly grateful, this is another massive milestone in my carrer. This is the first production that I have been apart of that has secured an award. Does this make me an award winning actor? Nah… This is just being part of award winning film. But who knows what the future holds.
